day 41: mural painting

so today after class we went to princess basma school to paint a mural on the walls of the cafeteria. traditionally, each semester the jc students paint a mural there and so i decided to help out with the painting. it was so much fun! it's only about half done, but it still looks great so far!

 we're painting it like a mosaic to kinda show the culture of the art in this area. cool huh? it was all the talented megan and deidra who put it all together :)

i'm sad we didn't get to finish it but i will definitely be going back to see it when it's all done. it was super fun. service is just great, especially when it involves painting :) talent show tomorrow, get excited!
