day 37: the garden tomb

testimony meeting was so awesome today! i wanted to go up, but the line was so long...but next month for sure! :) nursery was really great today too! i'm so sad i didn't have my camera with me today because the kids were all so great! our lesson today was "i bow my head and fold my arms when i pray." and when we prayed before snack time, all the kids were so good about praying (unlike most weeks...)

after church we went to the garden tomb. we had a short tour and got to walk around and write in our journal, read scriptures, and sing hymns. it was so great. i'll definitely be going back soon :)

in front of the gate
everywhere around the garden there were little cute signs and scriptures :)

they had absolutely gorgeous flowers there.
i love taking pictures of pretty flowers :)

the tomb. talk about wow.
a smaller version of the type of stone that may have covered the tomb during christ's time

i heard really great testimonies today during sacrament and i was able to really think about the things they said while i was at the garden tomb....

lots of historians and archeologists argue where or not this is the location christ was once burried. some say it was on golgotha. other say the church of the holy sepulcre.

but it's not where he died. it's who died that really matters,

although we may look at the Jews in the New Testament and not understand how they convicted christ, i bet heavenly father looks at us like that when we reject christ in our lives. i know i definitely have to work on that....

if you were convicted of being a mormon, would there be enough evidence to convict you?

learn the gospel. love the gospel. live the gospel.
:)
